Logos College hosted St. Michael’s College Batticaloa to a 2 match encounter on Saturday the 22nd February 2020.
The first match which was the senior match was won by St. Michaels by 8 wickets. Our games captain Nathan Amarasekara won Man of the Match for his match bag of 42 runs and 1 wicket.
The second match which was an under 13 encounter for the “Magis Trophy” was won by Logos College again by 8 wickets. The man of the match and the best batsman for this match was Abishalom Sundharamoorthy for his stand of 50 runs and match bag of 4 wickets and also the fact that he batted throughout the innings. The Logos Captain Srimal Prasansitha won best bowler for his bag of 2 wickets for 4 runs.
The matches were held at Cooray Park and watched by an enthusiastic crowd of parents and teachers. The chief guest for this occasion was our very own former Principal Mrs. Priyani Fernando.
