Primary School (Grades 1 to 5)
Students in Grades 1 to 5 are taught the national curriculum in the English medium. Subjects include Mathematics, Science, Religion and Environmental Studies. English Language and English Literature are also taught. It is compulsory that all students in Grades 1 to 5 also learn their First Language (either Sinhala or Tamil).
Students also have the opportunity to learn subjects such as Music, Creativity, Computer Studies, Poetry and Speech.
Students of the Primary School are encouraged to take part in extra curriculum activities such as Singing, Speech Competitions, Spelling Bees, the Logos Cub Scouts and the annual Junior Sports Day(Grades 1 and 2).
Swimming is a weekly school activity for all children, and parents are advised to make use of this opportunity to teach children this life enhancing skill.
Middle School (Grades 6 to 9)
The curriculum followed by students in Grades 6 to 9 fulfills the requirements of the Ministry of Education of the Government of Sri Lanka for the national examination. All subjects are taught in English. At the end of Grade 8, students who wish to follow the curriculum for the Cambridge Ordinary Level examinations are expected to sit for the required aptitude tests (more information can be found here).
Apart from educational activities extra curricular activities such as Scouting, Choir, Band, Speech competitions, Drama, Debate Competitions and the annual Sports Meet are held and students are encouraged to actively participate. In addition sports facilities such as Cricket, Football, Rugby, Badminton, Basketball and Swimming with competant qualified coachers conducting training are held under supervision by school authorities.
Students are encouraged to participate in social activities such as the Social Services Club and also activley participate in the Christian Association conducted by the school.
