I am honoured as the Principal of Logos College to welcome you to our school through our website. Logos is a unique school with an inclusive education system and has come a long way since its inception in 2007 when it began with just 28 students in total.
As I walked into the premises of Logos College on the 2nd of January 2020, to take my place as the Principal I began this new chapter at Logos College with a reassuring feeling that the Mighty Lord will walk before me. I am grateful for the foundation laid by Founders of Logos College and the founder Principal Mrs. Priyani Fernando.
At Logos we firmly believe that a school should provide a foundation that is needed to view the world as a limitless space providing innumerable opportunities to shine. We strive to provide an education that models the concept of community within the school. My vision for Logos is that we create a community within the school that brings children and teachers together creating a learning environment that creates an “Independent learner”.
Our staff, both academic and administrative, is always dedicated and ever learning to adapt to the changing environments of education and educational needs of our children. We, at Logos strive to provide education that explores, challenges, and grooms every aspect of the child’s personality and mold their character. At Logos we work within the Laboratory system that facilitates the movement of students, giving them the much needed brain-breaks between academic sessions. The moving around from one subject zone to another independently without the concept of a bell is designed to help students stay focused and be aware of their environment and their surroundings.
We are actively working on the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual training of our children helping them grow to be upright citizens of our motherland Sri Lanka and the world.
May the mighty Lord guide us all as we are called to serve our future citizens through the-
