Due to the keenness shown by a large number of students, football was started at Logos College in the Third term of 2016. A large number of boys and girls from Grades 3 upwards showed their enthusiasm attending practices on a regulat basis. Practices are held twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. The team is coached by Mr. Tissa Kodithuwakku, the Chairman of the National Selection Commitee of Sri Lanka Football. A number of friendly matches have been played against school and academy teams and our students, both girls and boys have acquitted themselves extremely well.  A football jersey was designed and printed for the team with the funds raised by donations and food sales organized by the players.

At the end of the first term of 2019, we had a Football Carnival where the players pitted themselves against their collegues in friendly six aside matches and showed their skills at playing tournament football.

With a better appreciation of team work, Logos College Football looks forward to a very bright future.
